Doctors’ health advisory services in each state and territory are manned by doctors who volunteer their time as a help and resource.
This website is designed to bring together doctors and medical students who share an interest in the health and wellbeing of their colleagues. You'll also find contact details for doctors' health services which operate 24/7 around Australia.
This site provides news and resources for promoting doctors' health, for helping your colleagues and for your own self-care, which is an essential prerequisite for competent medical practice.
Do you recognise your rights as a healthy doctor, for example? Check out the Doctors' Health Charter under the "Your Health" tab above.
You are warmly invited to contact us if you would like more information, and especially if you would like to be more involved!

1. National Forum on Doctors' Wellness
2. Australasian Doctors' Health Conference - ADHC2019
22 and 23 November, Esplanade Hotel Fremantle
Our theme is doctors' health across the generations – from medical students, to doctors in training, through to retirement. Current issues include work life balance, improving the culture of medical practice culture, plus our approach to physical and mental health problems in our profession.
Please consider submitting a paper.
The Conference will have a positive outlook, focusing on strategies to improve the health and wellbeing of doctors. The Conference mascot is therefore appropriately Dr Quentin the Quokka.
Please join us in November!
